He did miracles in the sight of their ancestors in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan. He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall. He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night. He split the rocks in the wilderness and gave them water as abundant as the seas; he brought streams out of a rocky crag and made water flow down like rivers. But they continued to sin against him, rebelling in the wilderness against the Most High. They willfully put God to the test by demanding the food they craved.
Psalm 78... If any of you have time today I urge you all to read the entire Psalm.
How many times have you seen or heard of God's wonders in your life? Have you heard or seen of his healing power in action in today's world? Did he take away that mood you were in the other day? Did he deliver someone from their darkest of days and bring them into the light? Has God ever made a GIANT impact on your life?
If yes to any of these, then why do we still not trust? Why do we still hold everything so close to us and make it seem like we are in control. Why do we want to be in control? If we trust God to be as amazing as we say he is, then what is holding you back from letting go? Why can we not put our full trust in him?
Like the generations in Psalm 78, they have seen ALL of these miracles, yet they still questioned God, they still doubted his power, and still rebelled against him.
Today I want to ask each of you to look in your own heart and find something that you do not trust God with. Find something that you are still using to Rebel. I want you to pray for that thing. I want you to pray that you can trust God with all your heart mind and soul and truly give up your life.
Does God want a part of your life? The answer is no. He wants all of it.
